How Travel Worthy PH handles your personal information
Who we are
Travel Worthy PH is a travel agency based in Batangas City, Philippines. We arrange tour packages and assist with visa applications. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us through our contact page.
What we collect
When you submit a trip or visa inquiry, we collect:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your contact number
- Your intended destination and travel dates
- The number of adults, children, and infants travelling
- Any special requests you choose to write
If you create an account, we also store your login details. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never readable by us.
The special requests field is free text. Please avoid entering health information, dietary or medical conditions, or other sensitive details unless they are necessary for your trip. If you do, we treat that information as sensitive personal information and limit access to the staff handling your booking.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quotation
- To arrange bookings, transfers, and visa assistance on your behalf
- To send you updates about an inquiry you have already made
- To keep records required for our own accounting and operations
We process this information on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our inquiry forms, and where necessary to perform the service you have asked us for.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, only with parties involved in delivering your trip. This may include airlines, hotels, local tour operators, and embassies or consulates processing a visa application. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Our website uses Cloudinary to store images and loads fonts and icons from Google Fonts and Cloudflare. These services may receive your IP address as a normal part of serving those files.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are removed from our active records once they are no longer relevant.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is used
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information
- Object to processing, or withdraw consent
- Request erasure or blocking of your data
- Be notified if your data is affected by a security breach
- Complain to the National Privacy Commission
To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond as promptly as we can. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer continue arranging your trip.
Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls that limit inquiry records to staff who need them. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our services are intended for adults booking travel. We record the number of children and infants travelling, but we do not knowingly collect personal details directly from children.
